Norwegian Bodil Bjerkvik Blain grew up surrounded by paintings and art books, a sensibility introduced by her artist mother. Antique pieces and modern design sat happily together in the home, thanks to her father’s family furniture business.

After an art degree in Chicago, Bodil returned to Europe and its art world. She built up her knowledge with 20 years experience in the art and high design market. A former columnist for Wallpaper magazine, Bodil’s interviews gave readers insight into the world of leading creatives in art, design, fashion and architecture, a particular interest of hers. In more recent interiors projects, Bodil has started to combine the sourcing of art and ‘objets’ into her work - an eclectic mix of old and modern design. Bodil’s web shop is currently under construction.
